This is a tiny, lo-res thermal camera with built-in display and BLE radio. I’ve wanted a thermal camera forever, and these tiny 8×8-pixel thermal arrays from Panasonic were affordable enough to allow almost anyone to build his or her own version for just about $100.
This project was a Semifinalist (final eight) in the 2014 Hackaday Prize.
Fully open source; you can find board files, BOM, and firmware here.
